Description

TITLE:               Nijmegen and the GRAND experiment

Abstract: GRAND (Giant Radio Array for Neutrino Detection) is a proposal for a new distributed radio detector with a total instrumented area of 200,000 km^2. This enormous area will be needed to be guaranteed to detect and analyse the highest energy neutrinos the universe provides. I will discuss the goals of this experiment, how and why we entered GRAND, our role thus far and the current status. I hope to end with a brief look towards the future.
