Description
A central question in discrete quantum gravity is how, and in what sense, the continuum can be recovered in the classical limit of the theory. I will address this question in the context of causal set theory, with an emphasis on recent work. In particular, I will discuss how recent developments in Lorentzian geometry can be used to study the convergence properties of causal sets in the large n limit, and may be of broader interest to Lorentzian quantum gravity.
