Description
In 2005 an article with a similar title by Manrique et al presented an implementation of Wilson’s renormalization group and continuum limit tailored to loop quantization together with a nontrivial example leading to an interacting relativistic quantum field theory. I will review that proposal, compare with other proposals, give new examples and critically examine the application of this framework to quantum gravity.
