Getting to Nottingham
The clostest airport to Nottingham is the East Midlands Airport. which mainly serves national or short international connections.
International guests may find suitable flights to Birmingham, Manchester or any of the London airports (Stansted, Heathrow, Gatwick).
Traveling by car
There is an easy access from M1 motorway. Please note that The University of Nottingham operates a pay and display car parking scheme across al campuses. Visitors can park either in pay and display car parks or designated parking zones. The main visitor car park is located between building 18 and 16, within a 5 min walk to the School of Physics (please refer to the attached map).

Directions from the M1 North to University park: Leave the M1 motorway at junction 26 and follow the A610 signposted to Nottingham. After approximately 2.5 miles turn right at the lights onto the A6514 Nottingham ring road (Western Boulevard). Follow the A6514 to Middleton Boulevard and then take the slip road towards the Queen's Medical Centre roundabout. Take the third exit at the roundabout onto the A52, Derby Road. Turn left at the University Park's North Entrance.
From the M1 South to University Park: Leave the M1 motorway at junction 25 and follow the A52 signposted to Nottingham. After approximately 5 miles turn right at the roundabout (Miller & Carter Wollaton, Travelodge) onto the A6464 Woodside Road. Turn left at the next roundabout to enter the University Park's West Entrance.

Traveling by train
The nearest train stations are located in Nottingham City Centre or Beeston.
Centre located train station - Nottingham Train Station - has a very good tram link to the University tram stop (South Entrance). Taxis and buses are available at both stations.
Traveling by bus
University Park Campus is on a major bus route. Please see the links below:

Most convenient bus service is Orange Line 34 with NCT (Nottingham City Transport). Bus 34 will drop you off at the University Park Campus. For other services: 35, 35A, 35B, 36 please get off at 'QMC main entrance' stop, from there only 10 min walk to the UP Campus. For service: N34 and N36 please get off at QMC or Lenton and Wortley Hall at the UP Campus. You would need to start your journey from the bus stop located at Victoria Shopping Centre or City Angel Row.
Traveling by Tram
University Park Campus is on a direct tram route. To get to the University Park Campus please us the line to Toton starting your journey from 'Lace Market' or 'Old Market Square' tram stop, your destination stop is called 'University of Nottingham'. From there you will have only a 10 min walk to the school of Physics. For your return journey you would need to use Hucknall line. Please see the link to the Nottingham tram website:
