Practical information

Directions

The workshop takes place in the Huygens building (Heyendaalseweg 135, 6525 AJ Nijmegen) of the Science Faculty, Radboud University.

The easiest way to get to the workshop location by public transport is to take the train to Nijmegen central station and then the frequent bus line 10 (get off at bus stop Huygensgebouw), but several other bus lines are available as well. An easy way to plan your trip (train and/or bus) is with 9292.nl or Google maps.

Note: there is a chance of strikes in the public transport. This does not affect the national train service to/from Nijmegen, but the local busses may be fewer in number.  Update: no strikes are expected in the Netherlands during the workshop period! Check the website 9292.nl for up to date information.

Location

If you arrive through the main (West) entrance of the Huygens building on Wednesday morning between 9:45 and 10:15, you won't be able to miss the registration booth for the workshop and welcome coffee will be served.

In case you arrive late, the conference room is HG00.303 (Wednesday + Friday) or HG00.307 (Thursday). Both are located on the ground floor of the Huygens building: if you enter through the main (West) entrance, turn right into the main corridor and immediately right again into the wing that flanks the main entrance.

The amphitheater conference rooms are equipped with multiple sliding blackboards and a projector. Please contact one of the locals with questions about hooking up your device.

Conference dinner

For those that have signed up for the conference dinner, the dinner will take place at Restaurant Humphrey's (Mariënburg 59, 6511 PS Nijmegen) from 19:00 on Thursday evening.
