Prague has an excellent public transportation system. Metro (subway), trams and buses will get you around most of the city and its outskirts, check here for routes and timetables, here for fares, and here for a map of the metro. The safest and quickest way of moving around town is usually by public transport or walking. Plenty of general advice on all forms of transportation can be found at the Wikitravel website, including on how to avoid unscrupulous taxi drivers.
If you arrive by plane at Václav Havel Airport, a convenient and cheap way to get to Prague is by taking trolleybus 59 or other buses into town and continuing by metro, as explained here. Depending on your point of departure, we encourage you to consider arriving by train. Prague is well connected to the European rail network, which also includes direct night trains from several destinations.
The conference venue is located at the tram stop Národní třída, and is in walking distance of the metro stations Národní třída (line B) and Můstek (lines A and B), see here for a local map.
